He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Lager and Inga Lager (Nelson); his wife Martha Larson; his brother Dale Lager; his niece Diane Lager; his nephew David Lager; his mother-in-law Georgia Larson; his brother-in-law Neil Larson; his niece Stephanie Larson; and his stepgrandson Greg Calkins.
He is survived by: his brother La Verne Lager (Vel Rierson); his stepdaughters, Karen Krzebietke (Robert) and Linda Calkins (Jay); his nieces, Debra Lager (Maryellen Paudler), Donna Lager (Steve Jacobsen), Daneen Lager, Darla Lager and Darcie Lager; his nephew Dennis Lager (Eileen); his brother-in-law Brian Larson (Jennifer); his niece Sarah Larson; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Krzebietke, Melanie Krzebietke, Chad Toedter and Chase Toedter (Alicia); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cain, Sam, Veriah, Kyle and Eve.
