It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Marie Burg of Caledonia, Minnesota, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Strub and Edna Strub (Halverson); and her siblings, Duane, Robert Strub, Kathryn VanBrocklin and Joan Downer.
She is survived by: her husband John Burg; her children, Barb Reardon (Tom) of La Crescent, Mark Burg (Sherri) of La Crescent, Colleen Hackworth (Mike) of La Crescent, David Burg (Dawn) of La Crosse and Sara Smith (Corey) of Woodbury, MN; her grandchildren, Andy Krzebietke (Amanda), Cory Krzebietke, Ryan Krzebietke, Erik Burg, Brittney Reinecke (Mike), Jacob Burg (Kasey), Joshua Hackworth (Alana), Lilly Santo (Demesio), Skylar Burg, Samantha Burg, Tayla Smith (Adam Casey), Jordan Wernecke (Garret) and Emma Smith; her great grandchildren, Aspen Waltner, Alex, Atlas Krzebietke, Ashton Krzebietke, Mia Burg, Ruby, Josie Reinecke, Cassius Casey, Sedona and Lachlan Wernecke; and her siblings, Karen Strub of Madison, WI and Ron Strub (Peggy Steele) of Caledonia. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
