It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores E. Mechtel (Caledonia, Minnesota), who passed away on July 3, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Fruechte and Winifred Fruechte; her husband Norman Mechtel; her son Daniel; and her siblings, Shirley McGinnes, Marlys Grande and Aldred Fruechte.
She is survived by: her friends, Rudy and Catherine Klinski; her daughters, Highland Voices, Jacolyn Mechtel (Bruce Kuehmichel) and Jeannette Barber (Hal); her sisters, Janice Renslo (Loyd) and Barbara Oakes; her grandchildren, Chris Barber, Patrick Barber (Amber), Aaron Kuehmichel and Leah Garry (Matt); and her great grandchild Orla Garry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
