He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Schroeder and Edna Schroeder (Caledonia); his in-laws, Grant and Alma Ellingson; his siblings, Dorothy Runningen (Vernon), Roger Schroeder and Jerry; his sister-in-law Audrey Ellingson (Michael Ellingson); and his grandson-in-law Alex Herbst.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ellingson; his children, Kari Broghamer (Scott), Craig Schroeder, Patti Hetrick (Dave) and Todd Schroeder (Jean); and his sister-in-law Nancy Schroeder.
