It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne D. Courtney of Byron, Minnesota, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Courtney (Ann Amunrud); his father-in-law Gene Doughan; his sister Darlene Manning; and his brother-in-law Jim Henrie. He is survived by: his wife Julie Doughan of Hayfield; his daughters, Keri Dahnert (Tait), Melissa Langager and Jennifer Ayshford (Will); his grandchildren, Trevor (Eleena), Trenton, Tessa Dahnert, Dominic, Blake, Sydney Langager, Rex and Reese Ayshford; his sister Ruth Henrie; his mother-in-law Bonnie Doughan (Brazilian); and his daughter Danda Bortolini.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Open House.
Memorials are preferred to "Christ the King Catholic Church Mortgage in Byron", "Gift of Life", "St. Croix Hospice" or "Donor's Choice" Wayne Courtney will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will shine on in the hearts and lives of all who had the honor of knowing him.
