We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joan Arlene Skare of Byron, Minnesota, born in Odebolt, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Johnson and Doris Johnson (Hanson); her son Michael; and her husband Ernie Skare. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Albers and Dan Johnson; her grandchildren, Nick Johnson (Macy Barrington), Kindy Hirsch (Bobby), Melissa Kieler (Gunner), Kimberly and Kristen; and her great grandchildren, Kayson and Eli.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (201 Frontage Rd NW, Byron, MN 55920). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church in Joan's memory.
