She was predeceased by: her parents, William Potts and Mary Potts (Wilson); her husband LeRoy Kapphahn; her great grandchild Riley Madison Stancer; and her siblings, Donna Schmidt, Wilma Scalf, Inez Pullins, Harry, Robert and John Potts.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Hobbs (Jim) of Burtrum, Janice Gessell (Pat) of Blaine and Kyle Kapphahn (Bob) of Lenexa, Kansas; her grandchildren, Donald Hobbs (Jenna), Jeanne Lee (Perry), April Stancer (Shawn), Jackie Sullivan (Eric), Brad Gessel and Alyssa Towle (Craig); and her great grandchildren, Haley, Garrett Gessell, Brianna Towle, Lexis, Landon, Avery, Amera Stancer, Madison Lee, Anika, Adora Sullivan and Elliot Hobbs.
