She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Phyllis and Alpha Oldham Phyllis (Bloodworth); her husband James H. Samuels; her daughter Linda Thomas; her granddaughter Stacey Thomas; and her siblings, Gladys Swetnam, Pauline Anika, Elvin Oldham and Harold Oldham (Pete).
She is survived by: her son James Samuels (Heidi); her grandchildren, Kelly Chappell (Steve), Robin Ginkel (Jeff) and Tara Thomas Gage (Jon); her great grandchildren, Reagan, Jack, Nash, Meg and Harlan; and her sister Carol Parsons. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
