He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur E. Fettig and Joanne R. Fettig (Oelfke). He is survived by: his wife Lera; his children, Alex, Liberty and Grace; his siblings, Becky Siekmeier (John) of Grant and Steve (Katie) of Chaska; and his nephews, Kaleb, Josh (Alexis) and Harry. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
