He was predeceased by: his mother Kereaka; his siblings, Tula, Maria, Helen Peters (James), Gus, James C. "Chop" (Faye), Michael C. (Stella) and Nick C.; and his son-in-law Derrick Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Annina; his children, Chris P. (Mary), Craig (Margaret), Caroline Swanson and Constance Hill (David); his grandchildren, James Swanson (Michelle), Christine Swanson (Drew), Peter Swanson (Kayla), Annina Boosalis (Justin), Peter Boosalis (Anne), Jere Boosalis (Nick), Josi Boosalis (Bejan) and Nicolas Hill; his great grandchildren, Brody and Cora Swanson; and his sister-in-law Katherine Boosalis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church (3450 Irving Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55408). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Snelling Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
Memorials preferred to St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church.
