He was predeceased by: his parents, John Flaherty and Lucille Flaherty; his sons, Jason, Ryan and Daren Flaherty; and his siblings, Timothy and Margaret Tindell (Charlie).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Michael Flaherty (Joanne), Jesse Hanson, Melissa Flaherty, Shannon Podewils (Nick), Sean Flaherty (Trisha) and Brendan Flaherty (Theresa); and his siblings, Ellen Kush (Marvin) and Brian Flaherty. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (19795 Holyoke Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
