He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Kuusinen and Martha Kuusinen (Maki); and his nephew Randy Engen (Pat). He is survived by: his sister Ann Marie Engen (Maynard) of Stevens Point, WI; his children, Scott Kuusinen of Sunnyvale, CA, Sandra Kuusinen (Pedro Romon Diaz) of San Diego, CA and Colleen Kuusinen of Greenfield, MA; his grandsons, Lucas and Samuel Romon-Kuusinen; his nephew Gary Engen (Teri); and his niece Jean Marie Marten (Randy).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:10 AM at the River Hills United Methodist Church (11100 River Hills Dr, Burnsville, MN 55337).
