She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Schuerman and Hazel Schuerman (DeGroy); her daughter Brenda Soucek; her siblings, Verona Grothe (Ewald), Sidney Dennis (Donna Mae) and David Schuerman; and her brother-in-law Gary Chevalier.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Ward; her children, Rick Ward (Kathy) and Leslie Heintzeman (Jeff); her son-in-law Greg Soucek; her grandchildren, Jesse (Laura), James (Andrea), Mikayla (Spencer), Colin (Chandra) and Garrett (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Arwen Ward, Elloise and Hudson Heintzeman; her sister Janice Chevalier; and her sister-in-law Diane Schuerman (Myrt McCarthy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
