With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Allen Mathews of Burnsville, Minnesota, who passed away on November 15, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola and Gilbert R; his brothers, Raymond and Charles; and his wife Lillian.

He is survived by: his children, Michael (Bonnie), Charles (Gail), Kathleen Miller (William), Stephen (Caroline), Judith Bunnell (Kevin), Lynda Cole (Michael) and Mary Scott (Brian). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and many friends.

Memorials preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Savage.
