She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Strom and Evelyn Strom (Oelke); her husband Loren Cuperus; and her sisters, Althea and Carolee.
She is survived by: her children, Deanne (Darvin) of Eagan, MN. and Andrew (Liz); her grandchild August of Bloomington, MN.; and her children, Robert (Nancy), Eleanor, Thomas and Christopher.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial donations in memory of Ethelyn are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
