He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John Arnold and Frances Malmstrom (Callahan); his wife Diane Marie Jurenes; and his brother John. He is survived by: his son Jason Malmstrom (Heather); his grandchildren, Taelor of Hermantown and Brennan Malmstrom of Hermantown; and his nephews, John Malmstrom, Richard Malmstrom and David Malmstrom (Sheila). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
