He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Banyai and Sophie Banyai (Krebs); his siblings, Tony (Cecelia), Leslie, Eugene and Sophie Peitz (Bill); and his brother-in-law Les Cave.
He is survived by: his siblings, Frank (Joyce), Nick, Claude, Myron (Theresa), Luella, Sue and Imogene (Greg); and his sisters-in-law, Maggie and Darlene. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
He also enriched his community as a member of the Knights of Columbus, embodying the values of charity, unity, and fraternity.
