It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marvel Joyce Korbel of Buffalo, Minnesota, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Koolmo and Esther Koolmo (Hendrikson); and her husband Frankie Korbel of Boyceville, WI.. She is survived by: her children, David Korbel (Cynthia), Daniel Korbel (Jackie), Denise Gertjejansen (Scott), Douglas Korbel, Dana Korbel (Suzanne) and Darlene LaFave; and her sister Karen Wold (Barry). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 4 great – great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (302 2nd St NE, Buffalo, MN 55313). A prayer was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
