He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Mae (Kretsch) of Mary's Church; his parents, Mabel Hunt (Erickson) and Charles Hunt; and his sisters, Norma McLean and Charlene Swanell.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Ryan (Rick), Kyle Hunt (Laurie), Jodie (Peter), Brenda Hunt (Jon Paul Kiel) and Stacie Hunt Vickerman (Mark Vickerman); and his siblings, Lowell Hunt, Donna Erickson (Gene) and Darlene Tibbits (Roland). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
