Cathleen Faye Hutchcraft Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cathleen Faye Hutchcraft of Buffalo, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Cathleen Faye left this world on January 31, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Aaron Smith and Betty Lou Smith (Like); and her grandson Boaz. She is survived by: her son Matthew (Jaci) of Buffalo, Minnesota; her daughter-in-law April of Buffalo, Minnesota.; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Dakota, Jordan, Stephanie, Jackson, Anya, Colton, David, Payton, John, Karrigan, Johannah, Cameron and Ezekiel; her siblings, Barbara Purdun (Wally), Larry Smith (Cindy) and Jim Smith (Wanda); her children, Pam Williams and Joshua Hutchcraft of Hutchinson, Minnesota; her nephews, David Purdun, Rob Purdun, Travis Smith and Nathan Woods; and her friend Phil Dirksen.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Buffalo Evangelical Free Church (2051 50th St NE, Buffalo, MN 55313). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Since Cathy was such an avid supporter of children's ministries and missions, the family request that in lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to Equip God's People Inc. Matt is a director in that organization and Cathy was actively helping him and Jaci plan and write the children's curriculum.
