With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Joyce VanValkenburg of Buffalo, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bror Ekholm and Emma Ekholm (Bjorlin); her husband Bob VanValkenburg; her stepchildren, Merrily and Robin; her grandson Jake VanValkenburg; and her close friend Jean Stoen.
She is survived by: her children, Joni Selle (Greg) of Maple Lake and Bruce VanValkenburg (Robin) of Augusta, WI; and her stepson Jack VanValkenburg (Sally) of Naples, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren+1 on the way; and many other family members and friends.
