Kenneth Anderson Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kenneth Anderson (Buffalo Lake, Minnesota), born in Belgrade, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 85, on May 12, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Kenneth Anderson or send a beautiful flower arrangement to the funeral service.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Anderson (Jacobson) and J. Alfred Anderson; his wife Janet Eidem; his son Jason Blair Anderson; and his brothers, Wilbur, LaVern and Virgil Anderson.

He is survived by: his son Kent (Tammy); his grandchildren, John Anderson, Kathryn Anderson, Emma and Eleanor Isaacson; his sister Shirley Swenson of Lakeville; and his daughter Heidi Anderson-Isaacson1 (Marc). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Kenneth Anderson's life (also known as Mr. A., Mayor, Kenny, Dad), in a pandemic, we are having a drive up "reception" of sorts.

Pam Schultz wrote a sympathy message

“Kent and family, i am sorry we lost touch, blame myself. But wanted to give you my deepest sympathy , including kevin as well. Kent, honestly can it be 40 yrs since we graduated? Well remembering your dad brought me right back to a time in our lives when we could see possibilities rather than results and outcomes. Mayor played a big part in my opportunities and experiences even though i never had him as a teacher or ffa advisor. He welcomed me to the herd like one of his own by. Fond memories.”

Chuck Eidem wrote a sympathy message

“Penny and I extend to the family of Ken Anderson our sympathy on his passing. Even though I lived in California, I had opportunity to see Ken on various occasions and always enjoyed our visits. We would stop by Buffalo Lake as we passed through, seeing Ken and Janet in their home or at their antique store. In later years, we exchanged Christmas cards and I would look forward to Ken's with a personal touch. A gift will be sent to Friends of Madagascar Mission in memory of Ken. Chuck Eidem”
