We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2022, at the age of 85, LaVerne Earl Gabriel of Brownsdale, Minnesota, born in Freeborn, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Gabriel and Gretchen Gabriel (Hillman); his brother Glennis Gabriel; and his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Gabriel and Harold Johnson (Gertrude).

He is survived by: his wife Mavys Gabriel of Brownsdale, MN; his daughters, Renee Swanson of Willmar, MN and Michelle Gerlesberger (Peter) of Rochester, MN; his grandchildren, Tim Gerlesberger (Melissa), Ben Gerlesberger (Shelby), Tyler Everson (Jennifer), Gayle Olson (Michael) and Brett Swanson (Kendra Spindler); his great grandchildren, Liam Gerlesberger, Eli Gerlesberger, Brynlee Gerlesberger, Gordie Olson and Alex Everson; his niece Cheryl "Gabriel" Newman (Steve); and his nephews, Lowell Gabriel (Debbie), Gary Gabriel (Linda) and Larry Gabriel.

Memorials are preferred to Greenwood Cemetery, Brownsdale or recipient of donor's choice.
