She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ziemer and Adalon Ziemer (Sykora); her daughters, Ann and Mary; her husband James Walter Metz; her son-in-law David Nudell; her siblings, Gordon Ziemer, Galen Ziemer, Marjorie Metz (Edward) and Phyllis Ziemer; and her brothers-in-law, Eugene Paulson, Raymond Metz (LaVerne) and Leo Metz (Sheri).
She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Karen) of Peever, SD, Donald (Mary) of Donnelly, MN and David (Julie) of Browns Valley, MN; her sister Beverly Paulson of Ada, MN; and her sisters-in-law, June Helgeson of Sisseton, SD and Mary Metz of Arizona. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
