She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Meland and Margaret Meland of Claire City, SD.; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Eva Balvin; her siblings, Betty Lou Meland, Marjorie Harn and Gary Meland; her siblings-in-law, Claire Harn, Mary Ann and Charles Landmark; and her son-in-law Paul Wagoner.
She is survived by: her children, Crystal Kemnitz (Aaron) of Claire City, SD, Douglas Balvin (Mischelle) of Canby, MN, Russell Balvin (Marci) of Norfolk, NE, Dawn Clearwater (Robert) of Watertown, SD, Barbara Terry of Ortonville, MN and Amy Wagoner of Watertown, SD.; her siblings, Robert Meland (Joanne) of Sisseton, SD and Georgia Tostenson (Arnold) of Bloomington, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Jayne Meland of Clear Lake, SD and Gerald Balvin (Marlene) of Claire City, SD. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would suggest donations to First Lutheran Church in Claire City, SD.
