He is survived by: his children, Debby Thomas (Larry) of Moorhead, MN, Sharon Brockhaus (Joe) of Rosholt, SD, Cindy Ward of Browns Valley, Kenneth Smith (Tamie) of Browns Valley, Jeffrey Smith of Browns Valley and Michael Smith (Karen) of Milbank, SD.; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Danielle, Lindsey Thomas, Ana, Lucas Brockhaus, Chad, Charla, Cody, Cole Ward, Elizabeth and Jasmine Smith; and his brother Leonard Smith of Gillette, WY.. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
