He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Spychalla and Angeline Spychalla (Zigan); his siblings, Bernice Brichacek, Stanley Jr. Spychalla and Duane Spychalla; and his daughter-in-law Eva "Babe" Spychalla.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Valerie Spychalla of Little Falls, Stanley Spychalla of Browerville, Tina Luberts (Pete) of Long Prairie, Lisa Kraus (Doug) of Elk River, Tracy Hanson of Maple Grove and Kyle Spychalla (Tina) of Browerville; and his siblings, Roland Spychalla (Barb) of Browerville, Rosetta Lemke (Victor) of Long Prairie, Adrian Spychalla (Diane) of Stacy and Marietta Boysen (Bill) of New Market. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
