He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Carlson and Emma Carlson (Brabec); his sisters, Ann Kohanek and Florence Thompson; his son-in-law Jay Eggerth; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Sadlo, Roman Sadlo and Ann Sadlo.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Sadlo of Browerville; and his children, Karen Eggerth of Long Prairie and Wayne of Browerville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
