He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Lemm and Cora Lemm (Kuvaas); his wife Lila; and his siblings, Allen, Lyle, Eugene and Eileen Rapatz.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Chong Cha), Allen (Pamela), Kevin (Judy), Kristopher (Debbie) and Carrie Beck (John); his sister Carolyn Swedal (Marvin); and his sister-in-law Jeanette Lemm. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
