He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Brown and Anne Brown (Langston); his siblings, Robert, Kathy and Ruthanne; and his sons, Corey Brown and Robby Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Brown; his children, David Brown (Buddy) of Pillager, Billy Brown of Oregon and Misti Brown of Browerville; and his stepsons, Doug Shaw of Mississippi and Dale Shaw of Mississippi. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
