She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Halgrimson and Frances Halgrimson (Strike); her husband Larry Stern; her children, Kim, Kurt and Keith; her grandson Lucas Stern; and her brothers, Albert and Henry.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Stern (Pam) of New London; her son-in-law Larry Schulz; and her grandchildren, Mandy Stark (Chris), Brenda Vanderstelt (Aaron), Anthony Stern (Brittany), Heather Hanson (Tyler), Brandon Stern, Kayla Stern, Krystal Stern (Jose) and Matthew Stern (Amber). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
