He was predeceased by: his father Kyle Ward; his stepparents, William Triden and Sandra Ward; and his grandparents, Hjalmer, Dorothea Nelson, Galen and Lavonne "Bonnie" Ward.
He is survived by: his mother Marie Triden (Nelson) of Willmar; and his siblings, Christopher Ward (Sheila) of Spicer, Joshua Ward of Devils Lake, ND, Mary Beth Wold (Lynn) of Brooten and Matthew Ward (Heather Bonrud) of Hancock. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
