He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Henry Kaeferlein, Bob Costain and Mary Kay Kearns Costain. He is survived by: his parents, Bernie Kaeferlein and Laurel Kaeferlein (Costain); his siblings, Nick and Chrissy; his grandmother Anita Kaeferlein; his aunt Elizabeth Smith (Costain); and his cousins, Nora and Cass Smith.
He settled on becoming a welding apprentice, but the pandemic of 2020 caused the program to put his education on hold.
