With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Van Orden (Brooklyn Park, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sandra Van may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Van Orden; her son-in-law David; and her parents, Les Schugg and Mary Lou Schugg. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Van Orden (Tushar Ganpulé), Katie Whiteford (Tad), Sara Gritzmaker (Jim) and Jenny Van Orden; and her grandchildren, Pierce, Paige, William and Callie.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Joseph the Worker (7180 Hemlock Ln N, Maple Grove, MN 55369). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
