With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of MaryAnn Margaret Phelps of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, born in Princeton, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2024 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her father David Edward Saxon; and her siblings, Sandy and Lewis Saxon. She is survived by: her mother Annie Jane Saxon (Veal); her children, Walter Boyd Phelps, Jr. of Coon Rapids and Marilyn Jayne Phelps (Minneapolis) of Fergus Falls; her grandmother Mary; her husband Walt; her stepdaughter Caron Watzke (Dave) of Las Vegas; her grandchildren, Joel Phelps of Brooklyn Park and Madelyne Phelps (Annie Phelps) of Morris; her great grandchild Maya Phelps of Fergus Falls; and her siblings, Marilyn Iverson of Northfield, David, Jr., Ronald, Loren, Elaine, Dyan, Shirley, Phyllis and Evelyn Saxon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.
