David Ostendorf Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Ostendorf of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy and Larry; his siblings, Michael, Joanne and Sharon; and his father-in-law Dave Pilkey.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Pilkey; his siblings, Sue Walz (Chuck) and Keith Ostendorf (Marina); his stepmother Phyllis Sopkowiak; his stepsiblings, Jerome Sopkowiak (Lisa), Lyle Sopkowiak (Jaye Ann), Joyce Wohler (Ron), Joanne Foust (Richard) and Lois Reishus; his mother-in-law Leona Pilkey; his siblings-in-law, Diane Ellis (Dan), Patty Harsha (Dan) and Jay Pilkey; and his pets, Trevor and Dezi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Dave's wishes, his body was donated to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program for science research.
