It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Gerber of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Riel and Frank Riel; her husband Bill; her sons, Paul and Gerard; her siblings, Audrey Verlo, Frances Pringle and Thomas Riel; her siblings-in-law, Mary Margaret Trainor, Pat Riel, Jerry Gerber, Arnie Verlo and Jimmy Pringle; her aunts, Bernice Johnson and Rosalyn Sweigert; her uncle Bill Johnson; and her parents-in-law, Helen Gerber and Elmer Gerber.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Benson (Brian), Peter (Deb), Sally (Vickie Redmond), Patrick (Annamarie) and Mary Goman (Joe); her grandchildren, Robert Benson, Angela Grossnickle (Dustin), Billy Gerber (Kim), Molly Drown (Matt), Joe Gerber (Rachel), Julia Lindquist (Hunter), Maria Goman, Sophia Goman, Bridget Gerber, Brendan Gerber and Jacob Goman; and her great grandchildren, William, Ava, Isla, Olivia, Miles, Thomas and Lucas.
