He is survived by: his wife Joan Bergjord; his children, Carman Oldre of Alexandria, Virginia, Tina, Bob Sand of Becker, Minnesota, Valerie and Doyle Trooien of Toronto; his grandchildren, Jessica, Lauren Sand and Travis; and his children, Gunnar and Axel Trooien.
