He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Alrik Nelson and Evelyn Irene Nelson; and his siblings, Roger and Janet. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Shawn (Marsha) and Michelle (Steve); and his grandchildren, Travis (Cori), Kelsey, Matthew, Stephanie, Alex (Ali), Jeremy, Spencer, Jaxon, Emma, Lyndi and Alora.
In lieu of flowers, a suggested memorial donation in Steve's name can be made to Triniti Home Health/Hospice of Elk River.
