He was predeceased by: his former wife Joan Stavig of Bagley, MN.; his parents, Bennie Stavig and Mabel Stavig; his brothers, Arvid Stavig (Fern) and Bernie Stavig; and his brother-in-law Warren Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie Stavig; his children, Heidi Foy (David) and Christopher Stavig; his sister Mavis Anderson; and his sister-in-law Charlotte "Bootsie" Stavig. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
