Juanita Rock, age 31, of Brooklyn Center, MN journeyed to the Spirit World on October 7, 2019. She was born on October 19, 1987 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Donald Banks and Michelle Rock. Preceded in death by daughter Baby Juanita; grandmother Phyllis Simmone; grandfather Dennis Banks; uncle Terri Rock and Mike Badboy; great-grandma and great-grandpa; aunts and uncles.

Survived by her mother Michelle (James) Ortley; her father Donald Banks; children Jordan Vilas and Justice Banks; siblings Donald Banks, Daniel Banks, Dion Rock Deonte' Rock, Loren BlackCloud, Brittany Roy, Sasha Weyaus, Misti Nelson, Brandi Nelson, Shannon Eagle and Secret Rock; uncle Aaron Rock; many other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Juanita Rock will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Little Earth Community Center. Brian Heart will officiate. Drum group will be South Side Ramblers. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. All night wakes will be held Thursday, October 10 and Friday, October 11 at Little Earth Community Center beginning at 7 PM both nights.

Honorary casket bearers will be James Ortley, Francis Rock, Jolita Vilas, Reggie Dunkley, Theresa Rock, Donald Banks, Dion Rock, Deonte' Rock, Loren BlackCloud, Brittany Roy, Sasha Weyaus, Misti Nelson, Brandi Nelson, Shannon Eagle and Secret Rock. Casket bearers will be Corey Jackson, Davis Holzer, Francis Rock, Daniel Banks, Roberto Rock and Brice LaRose.
