He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Greenwood and Kathryn Greenwood; his brothers, Charles, Rock and Gerald; and his daughter Susan.

He is survived by: his wife Joy; and his children, Chris (Judi), Tim, Daniel, Betsy (Bill), Patty (Ken), Jane, Jim and John. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
