She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Hawkins and Mary Hawkins (Nicholson); her husband Andrew Bruns; and her siblings, Milo Hawkins and Doris Leas.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Michels (Steven) of Maple Grove, MN; and her grandson Jeremy Michels of Brooklyn Park, MN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
