It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Lavonne Briggs of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Briggs; her parents, Tom and Beatrice; and her siblings, Marilyn, Don, Dean, Jeanine, Sally, Joey, Carolyn and David.

She is survived by: her children, Tom Briggs (LeeAnn), Tim Briggs, Brenda Schultz (Bart) and Beth Heimer (Terry); her grandchildren, Bryan, Amy, Joseph, Michael, Derrick and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Eli, Emmet, Milo, Julia and Ryland. She is also survived by three sisters.
