It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Custer of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Asael Custer and Ida Custer; his significant other Betty Sholes; and his siblings, Floyd (Edith) and Janet Severson (Paul).
He is survived by: his children, Sheri Heidelberger (Neil), Karen Sornberger (Gilbert), Cory, Bev Flaherty (Tim) and Dave (Ann). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Celebration of Life will NOT be at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, but instead at Living Word Christian Center, 9201 75th Ave N, Brooklyn Park, on Thurs. 10/29, with visitation at 11AM followed by a service at 12PM.
