“I’m so sorry for your loss. Mr Gates, AKA Uncle Carl, was one of my favorite teachers. He was always willing to listen and give advice. When I went on to Humboldt high school., I would walk home by Cherokee and see him and his current class and he always had a smile and a hug and good advice. He will be missed by many.”
