He is survived by: his wife Lori; his children, Kristin Balgaard (Kristopher), Jason Hartkopf (Christa), Matt Lienemann (Pam), Kyle Lienemann (Sarah) and Sam Lienemann (MacCall); his grandchildren, Morgan, Caden, James, Brady, Tayson, Max, Lena, Graham and Swen; and his siblings, Jim Hartkopf (Kathy), Steve Hartkopf (Nancy), Laura Christen (Dave) and John Hartkopf (Dani). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Life Lutheran Church (7401 County Rd 101, Maple Grove, MN 55311). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
