He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hanson and Elsie Hanson (Erickson); his son Doug; his siblings, Orin, Shirley Peterson, Judy Dean and Elaine Zimmerman; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Peterson and Clarence Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Beise; his children, Cindy Anderson, Jeannette Hanson, Duane Hanson (Lisa), Dale Hanson and Rodney Hanson; his brother Leroy Hanson (Marion); and his brother-in-law Preston Dean. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Strike Life Tributes (720 1st Ave E, Cambridge, MN 55008).
