It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Dean Lunning (Bricelyn, Minnesota), born in Buffalo Center, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Lunning and Edna Lunning (Tollagson); his grandparents, Maynard, Anna Lunning, Carl and Sena Tollagson; his parents-in-law, Mildred Kortes and Joseph Jasperson; his siblings, Sandi Schiele, Janet Mosser, Cheryl Hayes and Douglas Lunning; and his niece Dawn Lunning.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Jasperson of Woden, IA; his children, Susan Lunning (Patrick Palmersheim), Daniel Lunning (Julie) of St. Cloud, MN and Darin Lunning (Tammy) of Cape Coral, FL; his grandchildren, Angela Conley (Wayne), Mitchell Peterson, Brenton Marcum (Kayla), Sena, Ethan, Eliana Lunning, Jakob and Gavin Lunning; his great grandchildren, Reagan, Aaron and Grace Conley; and his cousins, Wayne Tollagson (Jeanne) and Sharon Vrieze. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the American Cancer Society in Dennis' name.
