He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Mark Geurts III and Dorothy Gertrude (Frey); his stepson Nikolas; and his grandson Mickey. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Vaughn (Olander); his children, Matthew, Jeremy and Stephanie; his grandchildren, Christian, Micah, Zachary, Kalei, Kalina, Jada, Matthew of Tylor, TJ, Izabel and Eliza; and his siblings, Leo, Carol (Jim Mahoney), Peter, Janet (Mark Anderson), Philip, Doree (Kit Johnson) and Paul (Shelly). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
